Need to Know:

Date:Saturday, 08 Aug 2026
Time:07:00 AM; 06:00 AM check-in begins
Start:South County Pool (12765 S 1125 W, Riverton, UT, 84065)
End:Church by City Cemetery (1500 West 13200 South)
  1. All participants must check in at the registration tables to have their number marked on the both their arm and leg before the race begins. The registration tables/lines will be according to your swim categories. When you are wearing your numbered bib, numbers MUST be worn on the front to ensure start/finish times!!!
  2. All youth under age 18 must turn in the parental release at check-in time. If you do not have a parental release signed and no parent is with you, you will NOT be allowed to participate. Come prepared.
  3. There will be two entry points into the pool and you will swim down and back in one lane, go under the rope and down and back in the second lane, go under the rope and down and back in the third lane where you’ll exit the pool. We will line up in order of Categories and complete one category before the next one starts. No fins, life vests or other inappropriate swim gear allowed. Goggles, caps, and other appropriate swimwear is recommended
  4. T1 (transition from swim to cycle) – at the pool – if you are a member of a team, swimmer must tag up with bicycle here.
  5. There are NO changing facilities available so come prepared to transition directly from the pool directly to the bicycling event.
  6. Bikes will be placed in the appropriate sections based on category assignments (1, 2, 3, 4 or Family) – look for signs directing you – there will be volunteers who stay with the bikes the entire time until picked up. Numbers assigned to bikes will match your body number and volunteers will verify when bikes are removed from T2 area.
  7. Make sure ALL GEAR YOU NEED TRANSPORTED TO T2 is placed in the bag with your bib number on it! We have several items each year go unclaimed because they were not secured in the numbered bag. If for some reason you don't find all of your gear at T2, check near the west entrance of the church at T2 to see if it is in the Lost & Found.
  8. T2 (transition from cycle to run) – at the church – if you are a member of a team, cyclist must tag up with runner here.
If you want your running shoes here, check-in at the registration table first to get your race number, then transport your shoes to T2 and place them on the chair that has your race number.
  9. We are not ending where we start – please keep this in mind for transportation needs. We start at the South County Pool and end at the church located at 1500 W 13200 S.
  10. Overall times will be kept, but not split times for each event. When you are wearing your numbered bib, numbers MUST be worn on the front to ensure start/finish times!!!
  11. An aid station will be provided at the front of the church building (next to the cemtery).
  12. HELMETS ARE MANDATORY! You won't be allowed to participate without one.
  13. No MP3 players or iPods are allowed during the race. They are a safety hazard.
  14. SLOW DOWN on fast bike turns and watch for cars when cycling or running! Bikers must obey all traffic rules! Be courteous to non-triathlon people on the Jordan Parkway especially.
  15. Bug spray is probably a good thing for the bicycling portion of the event.
  16. Water stations will be available at the pool, last of Jordan Parkway, at the one mile turn-around on the run and at the church.
  17. Bathrooms available at the pool and church.
  18. Parking at the pool will be blocked to ensure safety of the participants - please do not park in the lanes leading up to the pool - park in designated parking stalls. For family members who may be dropping people and gear, please be careful when dropping off your precious cargo.
  19. There will be no parking at the church parking lot, please park down 1300 W and the cemetery.
  20. Please observe all instructions from race organizers and respect the volunteers. We will have police to assist at busy/challenging intersections but we are NOT stopping traffic so be aware of your surroundings.
