Using ListenWIFI

About

ListenWIFI allows you to listen to a room in the building using your smartphone or other mobile device, using your own headphones or hearing aids.  The room needs to have a microphone plugged in and the presenter must be using it..

How to listen to a room

  1. Connect to the Church WiFi in the building.
  2. Make sure your headphones/hearing aids are connected to or paired with your mobile device via Bluetooth.
  3. Download the ListenWIFI app using the QR Codes or links above.
    The app icon looks like this:
  4. Launch the ListenWIFI application on your device.
  5. You will see a list of rooms to listen to.  Select the room you want to listen to.
    If you see a “Venue Scan” button instead, click it to detect the nearby rooms that are supported.
  6. If the audio is turned on in that room and sound is being played in that room, you will hear it through your headphones/hearing aids.
