Day of Service
Sign-up Sheet

Sign-ups are for Ward and Stake activities

(also see letter from the Presidency below the fliers)

We have an opportunity to serve coming up on September 6th from 9–11 a.m., in conjunction with the National Day of Service and Remembrance. This day has been recognized to honor victims, survivors, and those who responded to the 9/11 attacks.  We’re excited to join with others around the U.S. in acts of service that day.

On September 6th, there will be two ways to get involved.   For our stake project, we’ll gather donations to assemble shelter move-out kits and sack lunches for The Road Home homeless shelter.  Lists of needed donations are attached to this letter, and here is a link to the signup sheet online.  We’ll be at the church building at 12830 S. 2700 W. from 9-11 am to put together the kits and lunches.  Please bring donations from 9-9:30 am.

Second, each ward has a project planned within their neighborhood.  Details are included in the signup sheet under the bottom tabs.  Many of the ward projects are hands-on efforts to improve neighborhoods.  We hope all can be involved in some way to serve and be served.

Feel free to reach out to representatives in your ward with questions:
