Temple and Family History

  • March Invitation: See if your first 4 generations in Family Tree is complete — add names, if needed

Note:  The third week of each month is Ward Temple Week.  Attend any session you can during the week. Our ward focus will be the Wednesday 6:30 pm Endowment Session. Additionally, you may want to focus on the monthly invitation during Ward Temple Week.

Ward Missionary

  • March Invitation: As we approach the Easter season, pray the Spirit will guide you to someone with whom you can share your testimony of the Savior or a spiritual thought. Invite a family member or friend to attend church with you on Easter Sunday.

Emergency Preparedness

Action Plan for March: Food and Nutrition

  • Have a layered food storage supply you can easily maintain --- 72 Hours, 1 month, or longer

Plan:

  • Download the Emergency Food and Nutrition Packet:  Click Here
  • Follow the links for great resources on short and long term Food Preparedness
  • Select a focus area.  Don’t try to do everything at once, just start.

Prepare:

  • Start or Update your Emergency Food Supply
  • Start with a 72 hour Emergency Food Supply – Grab a box and put some items in!
  • Create or evaluate and update your plan for a longer term Food Supply
  • Store what you use.  Use what you store. --- No need to waste.

Practice:

  • Hands-on practice has been shown to be the best way to be able to respond well in an emergency.   Dry run various scenarios and the anxiety of the emergency is greatly decreased.
  • Pretend that you must eat one or more days from your Emergency Food Supply.
  • You may wish to coordinate with a friend of neighbor since we are to share one another’s burdens.
  • Kids love to role play.  Let them help select and prepare the meals.
  • Understanding that there is a plan and resources can greatly relieve anxiety before and during an emergency

Addiction Recovery Program

Addiction’s destructive behaviors negatively affect not only the addicted individual but their loved ones. The Church’s “Addiction Recovery Program” and its accompanying “Help for Spouses and Family Program” shares steps and principles of hope, guidance and healing available to each of us through the Savior’s Atonement. Anonymous, confidential and understanding help is available in weekly meetings that can be found by opening this link. We welcome you in joining others who started this healing path before you.
