• Monthly Ward Prayer: Each Fast Sunday, five minutes after the block, we will gather in the cultural hall as a ward to pray.
• Temple Recommend Interviews right after the block each Sunday by the clerk's office.

• The Stake Presidency holds Temple Recommend Interviews the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays from 3 pm - 4 pm

Temple and Family History

• February Invitation: Family Search;  For children over 8 years old —  Help them log in and make a password.  For adults — Login and see what is new in FamilySearch.

Note:  The third week of each month is Ward Temple Week.  Attend any session you can during the week. Our ward focus will be the Wednesday 6:30 pm Endowment Session. Additionally, you may want to focus on the monthly invitation during Ward Temple Week.

Ward Missionary

• February Invitation: February is the month of love! Share your testimony of the Savior with your friends and tell them of His love for them.

Emergency Preparedness

Action Plan for February: First Aid

• Understand the key elements of First Aid Preparedness.  What are the key skills you need to know?  What are the key First Aid Supplies you should have readily available?
• Knowing what to do is often more important than having the most amazing first aid kit.  Do you have First Aid skills beyond applying a band aid?
• A  first aid kit often is crucial to being able to help your family or neighbors.

• Does it contain the items that meet your family’s personal medical needs?  
• Does it contain adequate supplies for not only scrapes and scratches, but more serious traumas?

Plan:

• Download the First Aid Packet       Click Here

• Review the suggested opportunities to learn First Aid and Trauma skills.
• Review the information on recommended First Aid  and Trauma Supplies.
• Determine a focus area for training and supplies to work on.

Prepare:

• Get or Update your First Aid Emergency Kit(s).
• Study the basic Emergency First Aid Skills Included in the links.
• Get more advanced training if you are ready (Online, Red Cross, etc.).

Practice:

• Hands on practice has been shown to be the best way to be able to respond well in an emergency

•  Know the skills yourself
• Practice the skills with your family or a friend
•  Kids love to role play.  Let them practice as the patient and responder.  Stuffed animals and toys make great patients for role playing.

Addiction Recovery Program

Addiction’s destructive behaviors negatively affect not only the addicted individual but their loved ones. The Church’s “Addiction Recovery Program” and its accompanying “Help for Spouses and Family Program” shares steps and principles of hope, guidance and healing available to each of us through the Savior’s Atonement. Anonymous, confidential and understanding help is available in weekly meetings that can be found by opening this link. We welcome you in joining others who started this healing path before you.
