Level I
Develop a family communication plan that will be useful for 28 days or longer
- Cell phone (if available)
- Family radio (walkie talkie)
- Written notes (placed in a designated place with extra paper and pencils/pens)
Level II
Develop a family communication plan that will be useful for 90 days or longer
- Designate a meeting place
- Designate an out-of-area contact
- Designate evacuation routes
Level III
Develop a family communication plan that will be useful for 365 days or longer
- Chargeable communication device to last over 365 days
