Level I

  • Date items when purchased (Month and Year)
  • Use older items first
  • Once in a while instead of saying "What do you want for dinner tonight?" try thinking "What do we have that needs using" and plan dinner around that.

Level II

  • Take inventory of your food storage
    • Organize in most-perishable order
    • Throw out any expired/unusable food
